Yesterday, it was my kids' last day of summer vacation. A bit of a bittersweet date for us. I haven't done a weekend in photos in a while, because, well, my weekends are mostly cleaning the house and getting out to have it shown. Exciting stuff. But this weekend, I went to New York to hang out with my friend Kelly. We didn't plan anything big, other than eat eat eat. Because when one is in New York, one is within reach of some of the best restaurants in the world. So one should EAT.

Is it "giveaway" or "give away"? Anyway. Ella Publishing just came out with this super cute book about scrapbooking girls. I've read it and love it. And while this is a girl specific book, I think all the ideas can be easily adapted for boy layouts. If nothing else, it's filled with some pretty great eye candy by some of my favorite scrappers.
